yes, but I did encounter an issue when switching from mouse and keyboard to controller, mainly a temporary freeze of the game, but controller works fine once past that.
I’ve been using controller and haven’t had an issue, after i disabled the WASD controller Layover from steam

You can use a controller for the game. As an example, an Xbox controller plugs straight in to the game. Just plug and play!

I don’t use a controller, but if I had any suggestions, I would recommend using a Steam Controller (also not sure if any other controllers can really be used…)
They are very functional and controls can be edited in so many different types of ways to cater to your play style and functionality.
Plays really smooth on controller
