What kind of type of dinosaurs do you want?

This is exactly what I was thinking, would definitely be a cool boss fight. Either predetermined weakpoints or you could use explosives to blast off a chunk of armor which could become a weakpoint.

One diplodocus! :rougir:

We need some herbivores for sure. A big tank-like Triceratops, maybe they’ve grown sharp teeth because they’re mutated like the carnivores. Just this massive, tooth filled beast that can run as fast as a truck chasing you down!

We should also get a Spinosaurus for sections with water (if there are water sections!)

You could also go the route of the Jurassic Park Arcade machine and have some sort of insect that is used for a ‘swarm’ effect.

We definitely need some counterparts for the Tyrannosaurus, since we have so many Raptors as seen in the trailers. Personally, I’d love to see a Spinosaurus that can burrow, maybe with its spine sticking out of the ground when doing so, ala Jaws. Another one I would love to see is a Giganotosaurus that could be like a super version of the Tyrannosaurus.

While I love the design of the Rex in this game, the Tyrannosaurus is just so overused that it would be nice to see these two larger and more powerful predators compliment it in-game (plus both of them look cool af and I’m sure would look even cooler in SE’s style).

I love the idea of a second large Predator but It could also be interesting to see a Spinosaurus as a Kind of a support class healing or boosting other dinosaurs. I think this would fit him well and as he is Pretty big he would have enough hit Points to be very strong.

That’s definitely an interesting idea, could be sort of how the Acrocanthosaurus’ roar in Primal Carnage: Extinction boosts and heals other dinosaur players.

Is there a wiki already with all the types of dinos that we will end up fighting against?

There’s an unofficial wiki (heavy WIP) run by yours truly that showcases images of all known dinosaurs and all the revealed to the public information about them. But other than that, there’s no official database of all the enemies. Though there is a section on the About section of the official website that shows images of the T-Rex, Electric Raptor, Acid Raptor, and the regular Raptor, no information to go with them though.

The Beta is only (most likely ) going to start in August so dont fear the beta keys will come.

All this talk of what Dinos we want to see got me motivated, and since some people seem to agree with me about Giganotosaurus, I went ahead made my own rendition of what I believe a Second Extinction Giga could look like. Without further ado, I present the “G-Rex”.

So, how could a Giga work in SE? We know from interviews that the T-Rex is capable of “leaping, biting, stomping, and roaring”. The Giga could have these same attacks but with a few extras in there which I will detail in a second.

Giganotosaurus was larger in terms of height, length, and proportions than the Tyrannosaurus, who was in turn bulkier and had a stronger bite force. So, perhaps the bite does less damage than the T-Rex. Maybe its lighter build means it is a faster and more agile foe (though scientifically speaking, Tyrannosaurus was believed to be faster than Carcharodontosaurids). Its brain was also smaller, meaning maybe it could act more aggressive and primal than the T-Rex in-game.

Now where the Giga shines over the Tyrannosaurus is in its arms, much larger (exaggerated in my art) than the Tyrannosaurus, these three-clawed muscular arms could be used for a swiping attack if you get too close. With its head being much larger, to add to the difficulty, it could perhaps be capable of a one-hit eating attack if you get too close. To make it more forgiving, your teammates could shoot the giant dinosaur to make it drop you before it can devour you. Perhaps this could be combined with the claw attack to have it grasp you before biting down, making this the part where your friends must save you.

In order to make my specific design more unique, I gave my Giga a Shunosaurus-inspired spiked tail club. Talking specifically about my design, this could also be used for a tail swipe attack.

So, what do you think? Any feedback on my ideas and art is appreciated.

Unbelievable cool design. I would definately want to see such a Monster basically indicating your final hour. This Design Looks like a snow themed Version of the T-Rex and as the dinosaurs are mutated it could be Pretty interresting to see the Giga spitting ice and freezing the Players temporary.

Hey!
Maybe we can get some Brachiosaurus in a map.
Irritator could be a great boss for some beach/lake map.
Iguanadon looks like a helpful supporter.
Plesiosaurs for a water/boat stage will be amazing!
Carnotaurus, Euoplocephalus, Graciliceratops, Kentrosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Talarurus are great too!

I would love to see some sort of Ocean Map with marine reptiles such as Plesiosaurus and Mosasaurus. I would love to see Special underwater weapons too. Maybe even a submarine.

Came here to say Ankylosaurus, so this would be cool.
